Nevada State Park off Hwy 28, South of Incline Village
Borges Sleigh and Carriage Rides has been offering Lake Tahoe locals and visitors a unique way to see the area for over 50 winters. From November through March, they welcome guests for Scenic Sleigh Rides, narrated 40-minute tours of wintery Lake Tahoe. Enjoy winding through towering groves of pine trees and riding along the lakeshore before ending at Grandma’s Cottage for hot chocolate and freshly made treats.
David Walley’s Resort is a wonderful winter retreat tucked into the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Lake Tahoe. Spend the day on the slopes of the nearby Heavenly Ski Resort or explore other local attractions before returning to the resort to recharge. Soak in one of five hot springs, or kick back and relax with a drink at the resort’s Restaurant and Saloon Bar. It’s a cozy retreat to keep you warm in the Lake Tahoe snow!

Heavenly Village is home to Lake Tahoe South Shore’s only winter outdoor skating rink. Bring your own skates from home or rent your equipment there for a fun evening on the ice. When it’s time to warm up, visit any of the area’s fabulous restaurants for something cozy and indulgent, or enjoy shopping at Heavenly Village’s stores!

The Palisades Tahoe Aerial Tram is one of the best ways to experience the stunning panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountain vistas. This short 10-minute ride will take you up to Palisades Tahoe’s High Camp, located 8,200 feet above sea level. Once you’ve reached the top, you can enjoy a warm meal, a cup of specialty coffee, or a visit to the Olympic Museum!
