Whether you live locally or are passing through, there are plenty of things to experience with your children that will keep them entertained and make lasting memories. Here are a few of my favorite kid-friendly things to do in Reno as a family photographer!

Animal Ark

Animal Ark is a beautiful 38-acre wildlife sanctuary that is home to a variety of rescued animals. Created out of a passion for conservation and a true love of animals, the kid-friendly park in Reno still exists today to protect and care for some of the planet’s most remarkable creatures. When you visit, you can see beautiful tigers, cheetahs, bears, leopards, and mountain lions, many of whom were rescued from illegal pet trades. There are also porcupines, raccoons, coyotes, hawks, and other native wildlife that have found a safe, loving home at Animal Ark!

There are few things more kid-friendly than taking in a baseball game in Reno! The Reno Aces are a minor league baseball team (affiliated with the Arizona Diamondbacks) that has been entertaining the Reno community since 2009. Grab a classic ballpark snack and enjoy an exciting baseball game while rooting on the Aces!
