Heavenly Ski Resort straddles both California and Nevada skiing with awe-inspiring views of Lake Tahoe and the valley below. With views that have to be seen in person to believe, the lift ride to the top of the mountain takes only 5 minutes, so you have more time to enjoy the trip back down to the base. This is definitely a resort for more experienced skiers, with over 80% of their terrain ideal for intermediate skiers and 18% for advanced.

Their passes are some of the most affordable in Lake Tahoe, making a great ski experience accessible for more guests. With 1840 feet of vertical spread across 655 acres, you’ll find amazing views and friendly slopes throughout the entire resort!

Sugar Bowl Ski Resort is a great ski option for anyone looking to hit the slopes, whether a beginner or an expert! They offer 103 trails across 1650 skiable acres, with the perfect trail for everyone to try. The Sugar Bowl Ski Resort has been family-owned since the 1930s, and to this day, they offer amazing hospitality. They offer group and private lessons for anyone looking to learn or improve their skills, and tubing and snowboarding for even more wintery fun!
